Innlights delivers 450 sqm LED panels for a digital art project

Drive in Museum Rotterdam relies on InnScreen R3 HE-Series

In special times, new and innovative concepts emerge. This was also the case last summer in Rotterdam’s exhibition halls. The “Boijmans Van Beuningenmuseum had already closed before the pandemic in 2019 for renovation reasons. And since the exhibition halls in Rotterdam have not been used since March 2020, the museum was able to implement an unusual exhibition format there and initiated a drive-in exhibition. The image formats of the exhibits and media installations were also unusual. Visitors drove independently through the large, thirteen-meter-high exhibition halls in their own or rented emission-free electric car. They sat protected in the vehicles while observing the applicable safety distances and experienced the installations and digital works of art in the exhibition through the car windows. A total of four huge LED screens, each 14 m wide and 8 m high, were set up and filled with digital art. The LED panels were hung diagonally in the room for optimal viewing from the car and enabled full-format viewing through the window panes. The only 3.4 to heavy LED displays were planned, statically calculated and installed for the partner company VidiSquare from Belgium by the Wuppertal company Innlights Displaysolutions. The InnScreen R3 HE LED panel with a 3.9 mm pixel pitch was used, which has already been used at various major international events, such as the Pan American Games 2019 in Peru. The LED batch covers 1,000 square meters and is therefore one of the largest 3.9 mm batches for indoor/outdoor use in the European market.

Successful BOE participation for Innlights

Video Cube and Innlights RCA Remote Control App at „Wow Wuppertal”. Innlights Displaysolutions was exhibiting at booth C24 in hall 7 at this year’s Best of Events in Dortmund. The joint stand was planned and organized by FAIR EVENTS 10.0 for the marketing cooperation „Wow Wuppertal”. Innlights, also from Wuppertal, supplied the InnScreen C2 LED displays including the Innlights Remote Control App for the feeds of the four pages on the high-resolution video cube. Hartmut Vogel, Managing Director of FAIR EVENTS 10.0, commented: „The Innlights RCA fitted perfectly into our trade fair concept. Each partner on the stand was able to individually and interactively integrate their desired content without any technical assistance, either by mobile phone or tablet.” Innlights’ LED technology not only demonstrated the performance of its latest version of the Remote Control App, but also the prove the outstanding image quality of InnScreen C2. Thomas Klem, Innlights Managing Director, said: „C2 is a high-end indoor LED product with a small pixel pitch of just 2.84mm, working with Innlights’ new 2D and 3D processing. As a single batch, Innlights has a storage volume of 500 square meters of C2.”

InnScreen S2 enables Visual Digitization at Stadionwelt

As part of a second cooperation, Innlights Displaysolutions presented another very up-to-date and high-resolution LED panel with InnScreen S2 at the Stadionwelt stand in Hall 5, Booth B20. The advantages of the LED panel with its „Direct Wall Mounting” specification made it easy for visitors to convince themselves at the Stadionwelt stand. The InnScreen S-Series is mounted directly on the wall without the need for a rear triangle, with a thickness of only 42 mm. It is suitable for fixed installations, e.g. retail digital signage applications. Stadionwelt was also very satisfied. „For the first time we used a digitally feeded LED display here at BOE. We are happy about the great picture brilliance, the flexible playback of the pictures and the diverse forms of presentation”, says Carsten Ponsar from Stadionwelt. Media control systems such as the Innlights RCA are being used more and more frequently at trade fairs, because they are recorded and controlled with content in a user-friendly and cost-efficient manner via mobile phone or tablet. Thomas Klem summarizes: „More and more customers are convinced of the advantages of digital information and content, while being easy to use. This leads to an increasing spread of visual digitization in all areas of application.”

Innlights Solution

Neue Produkte “one batch” in großen Stückzahlen ab Lager verfügbar.

Innlights RCA presented at BOE

User-friendly control for LED displays. At this year’s Best of Events in Dortmund, Innlights Displaysolutions presented a novel control for image and video programs on LED screens under the name Innlights Remote Control Application. The trade fair visitors were impressed by the easy handling and performance of the software solution at the joint booth of Innlights and the partners Saalbau GmbH from Frankfurt and Lleyendecker eventsolutions from Wuppertal on January 10th and 11th. Interactive and playful videos, pictures and a 360° VR presentation on a four-meter-wide curved LED display, InnScreen C3, and a LED floor application with InnScreen M5 Floor could be played. The different event locations of Saalbau were very lively and realistic. Marius Kuschmierz, technical director of Innlights comments: “We controlled all media, including the virtual reality application, with the help of our Remote Control App simply from a mobile phone. Innlights RCA works across platforms and is designed for mobile, tablet and laptop / PC.” Even the creation of program sequences or a timed playback with playlists can be handled without specific knowledge  of it via RCA. The program playback is documented in the system so that, for example, billboard advertisements can be recorded and displayed. Short-term customization options or program changes through simple media integration ensure maximum flexibility. Innlights RCA is not limited to the use at trade fairs and events. The system is also ideally suited for fixed installations and enables automatic, daily updated or event-related feeds. Marius Kuschmierz summarizes: “The system is suitable wherever flexible use and operation without the use of technicians, without the use of complex video technology and without knowledge of pixel dimensions, scaling processes, or similar LED displays is needed.”

Innlights expands rental park

LED display product InnScreen C3 now available. Innlights Displaysolutions as a supplier of professional LED technologies for trade fair, event and permanent installation extends its dry-hire portfolio. After the high-resolution Indoor LED Cabinet InnScreen Q3, InnScreen C3 is now also available in large numbers in the rental park.

With the small 3.91 mm Q3 pixel pitch, the C3 cabinet allows concave and convex curved LED displays for indoor use. The construction, whether flat or curved, is fast, simple and precise. Angulations  in 5° increments from 1° to 20° “convex curved” and 1° to 30° “concave curved” can be realized. Within a video wall plane and curved arrangements are freely combinable. With a large viewing angle of 140° vertically and horizontally, with a brightness of up to 1200 cd/m² and fast processing, InnScreen C3 offers high-quality images via black face LEDs. At the same time, the power consumption is very low with an average of 72 W per cabinet. InnScreen C3 is designed for rental use and very robustly manufactured on the basis of an aluminum CNC milled frame. The cabinets are equipped with a quick release system for tool-free installation. Marius Kuschmierz, CTO at Innlights, commented: “Our new cabinet is designed for the permanent assembly and dismantling at trade fairs and events. With its creative curving options, InnScreen C3 is an excellent addition to our rental portfolio. In addition, we are currently able to offer cross-rental investments for the quantitatively large product batch.”

Innlights extends the rental park again

InnScreen C-series with high resolution for trade fair applications. Innlights Displaysolutions is known as an LED display provider for rental and sales. The company has expanded its rental portfolio with new indoor products of the “C-series” especially for trade fair use. Next to InnScreen C3, there is another, even higher-resolution LED panel available.

With InnScreen C2, customers can now rent high-quality LED displays with a pixel pitch of 2.84 mm. The brightness of this new LED panel with 1,100 cd/m² enables brilliant pictures even under bright exhibition conditions. Both LED panels offer a large vertical and horizontal viewing angle of 140°, as well as high refresh rates in the control for flawless video playback even with fast movements. The InnScreen C3 offers curved applications with angles in 5° increments from 0° to 20° “convex curved” and 0° to 30° “concave curved”. For flat and curved screens, the C3 technology with many different variations fulfills the requirements of a wide variety of booth designs. Both InnScreen products, C2 and C3, are CNC-milled aluminum for precise construction and robust handling. Managing Director Thomas Klem concludes: “At the trade fair, the trend towards a small pixel pitch is unbroken. The LED panels of the C-series are excellently suited with their specifications. InnScreen C2 and C3 are now available, even in large contingents “.

Innlights much noticed at the BOE

Innovative LED screen and precise kinetics as a pulse generator. Under the motto “LED screen meets kinetics”, Innlights Displaysolutions presented a large LED display installation using kinetic elements from 18. – 19.01.17 in Dortmund for BEST OF EVENTS. In cooperation with the partner companies Lleyendecker, ARRI Media and Nemedia, a sample application was created, that has been received very positively by the visitors.

Thanks to precise and synchronous movements, combined with high image resolution, the mobile square-screen InnScreen J2 LED display with a pixel pitch of 2.976 mm received a lot of attention. Marius Kuschmierz, CTO of Innlights, comments: “The J2 Cabinet with its outstanding image quality has a wireless design with integrated HARTING connections for data and power supply. This makes it ideal for mobile applications, as we see them here on the stand “. A particular highlight of the LED display: For the 50 square meter large area, different Innlights LED cabinets were used for direct image and product comparisons. Dramatically integrated in the show, the motor-driven LED display positioned itself in front of the LED video wall, which was equipped with InnScreen Q3 ST in the center and with InnScreen M5 on the sides.

InnScreen Q3 is a high-resolution cabinet for indoor use, while InnScreen M5 is an outdoor product with a brightness of 5,000 cd / m2. In the base of the LED video wall and in the floor another highlight of the booth was shown. Innlights M5 is also the bottom cabinet with the highest image resolution on the market today with a pixel pitch of 5.95 mm. By means of adjustable foot elements, the outdoor cabinets become a high-quality floor display in any arrangement. Thomas Klem, CEO of Innlights Displaysolutions, summarized the BOE presentation: “We wanted to set innovative impulses with our LED display installation and we were pleased about the very positive response from customers and interested parties. Innlights sees itself as a competent partner for outstanding LED projects and customized special solutions “.
